Optimal Energy Waffles & Pancakes

When you combine different fuelings you can transform them into a variety of great possibilities! A basic recipe can turn them into a waffle, pancake or muffin.

[4 servings of 2 waffles each: 1 fueling, 1/2 condiment]

Ingredients:

1 packet Chia Bliss Smoothie
1 packet Blueberry Almond Hot Cereal
1 packet Indonesian Cinnamon Hot Cereal
1 packet Cinnamon Cream Cheese Swirl Cake
3 Tablespoon Eggbeaters, beaten (1 condiment) OR 3 Egg whites
1/8 Baking Powder (1/4 condiment)
1 Tablespoon Cider Vinegar (1/4 condiments)
1/2 cup Unsweetened Almond milk (1/2 condiment)
*Water-only use enough to make Batter equal 2 cups of total Batter


Directions:
~In a personal blender, pulse all the fueling packets to make a fine powder.
~In a 2 cup liquid measure cup, combine all ingredients mixing completely. 
~Heat mini waffle maker then pour 1/4 cup batter into maker (OR as pancake on griddle OR in a loaf pan for bread--You can even add 1/2 cup shredded zucchini)
~If it starts to stick, spritz with Pam. I used 6 spritz which equals 3/4 condiments.
~Wait 2 minutes and steaming is almost done before trying to release the waffle. (Use Bamboo skewers to release waffle from the hot iron and lift lid SLOWLY.)

  1. How would this be with a vanilla shake substituting the Chia Bluss! I don't have that one .

    1. Laurie, the vanilla shake would probably be REALLY good. If they could just make a non-soy Vanilla I could do so much more yumminess! LOL
